Services

As different needs arise for our residents and non-residential clients we attempt to meet them to the best of our agency's ability. Several of the additional resources we offer our ladies are as follows.

Food Pantry

Many of the women who use our services come to our home with little or no food. We keep a well-stocked food pantry to assist with new residents until they get a job. If you would like to donate to our food pantry, please contact our office at 765-659-4739.

Employment Assistance

Rainbow Haven offers assistance with job search skills. We prepare our residents to become self-sufficient members of the community by providing job counseling, resume assistance, interviewing skills practice, and time management training. We also assist in locating childcare, finding transportation and locating necessary clothing for the new employee.

Educational Opportunities

As part of the rehabilitation services offered to our residents, we are happy to assit with further education goals. We have many connections to educational opportunities. If you want to complete your GED, Rainbow Haven will assist you in doing that and even pay for your testing cost. Whatever your goal may be to complete your education, Rainbow Haven can help with that.

Transportation Assistance

In the community in which we live having a reliable car is a necessity. We are endeavoring to keep a stock of donated cars available for our ladies. If you would like to donate your good-running and reliable car to our program we would be happy to provide you with a receipt for the assessed value of your automobile. All of our cars are quickly turned over to ladies in need. Reliable transportation helps our ladies get back on their feet faster by enabling them to look for and keep well-paying jobs and to find appropriate child-care. If you are not able to donate an automobile but you are capable at auto repair or auto maintenance and would like to donate your services please contact our office.
